Most customers going out to buy wireless speakers are probably doing so to ‘add on’ to their current home theatre system and these will be used without any connecting wires running across the room where they are to be used. Technology has provided the means to buy off-the-shelf wireless networking for those who require it in their home and reasonably inexpensive too. However, a fully wireless home entertainment system suitably priced is still not available but the world of technology moves fast and may soon be not only affordable but also attainable by all. Many people dream of having a totally integrated pc and home theatre/home entertainment centre and this is already achievable with current technology. Setting up a rear channel or multiform system is quite simple however; there are some who still say that the quality of sound is not as superior as that from wired speakers. Wireless speakers need amplifiers either integrated into the speakers or on an external unit and these require power to work. There are some available that are battery-powered but may not be suitable for all locations; they just give added convenience and flexibility many would like to achieve. Wireless Speakers
